TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

Edusuite is looking for a Technical Support Engineer and System Administrator to maintain its software systems and solve customer’s technical issues. This includes diagnosing and resolving issues regarding the software, hardware and other related areas. The work also involves setting up, configuring and maintaining the IT infrastructure, including server monitoring, deployments and troubleshooting.

Post is currently a work-from-home position. However, as things ease back to normal, it will become a hybrid position with mostly remote work but with occassional meetings held in our main office in Alabang. Candidates may be on call during off-hours.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

  • At least 2 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Knowledgeable in basic Java Development to effectively diagnose issues

  • Strong understanding of related hardware and software including their configurations

  • Strong understanding of the Linux Operating System and Computer Networking

  • Able to construct SQL queries and manage a database

  • Knowledge of the following is a plus:

    • Amazon Web Services

    • Google Cloud Platform

  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues about the software, hardware and related areas

  • Monitor system availability

  • Monitors the security and efficiency of various systems

  • Installs and configures software, hardware and network

  • Handle and manage Edusuite application deployments

  • Handle server maintenance and operations
