The Mid - Sr. Quality Engineer assumes the role of a software tester and a business analyst, which involves quality assurance through different types of testing, while also aiding in designing system features/modules.

Job Responsibilities

• Aid in requirements gathering and wireframing for feature designs.

• Support the software development team in defining and testing features.

• Develop and manage automated tests using appropriate testing tools. 

• Create and maintain system documentation in the form of (but not limited to) Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flow Diagrams, etc.

• Verifies that work produced meets elicited requirements through test plan / test case development and execution

• Anticipates current and future issues and develop plans and actions to minimize the negative impact

• Develop and deliver world-class support experience

• Creates and manages testing workflows, processes, and activities

• Reviews and helps maintain quality of work of other QE team members

• Able to conduct appropriate training to the team

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.

• Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs and ensure software meets specified requirements.

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and provide feedback on functionality and usability.

• Conduct performance, security, and regression testing to ensure system stability and reliability.

• Utilize testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

• Monitor and track defect resolutions, ensuring timely closure and reporting.

• Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports on software quality metrics.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Advocate for best practices in software quality and testing processes.
   

Qualifications

• Has minimum 3 years of software testing experience 

• Has experience in software testing for agile teams

• Has intermediate to advanced knowledge in Test Management

• Has experience in automated testing and testing tools (e.g. Selenium Java, JMeter, Postman, etc.)

• Has experience in Wireframing or Business Analysis

• Preferably has experience in a leadership role
