PRODUCT LEAD

The Project Lead spearheads strategic, high-impact initiatives within the organization. This hybrid role combines Project Ownership and Hands-on Development, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to help shape the future of educational technology.


The Special Projects Lead will take charge of key innovations including the Mobile Application, Watch Tower (an internal client monitoring tool), Usage Analytics, and other high-priority features and apps. As a solo or lead contributor, the role requires the ability to drive end-to-end product delivery—from ideation and planning to execution and testing.

Project Ownership & Product Leadership

  • Define product vision, success metrics, and delivery timelines for assigned special projects.

  • Prioritize features and enhancements in alignment with company goals and user needs.

  • Serve as the Product Owner, guiding the project from concept to release.

  • Collaborate with company leadership to identify, evaluate, and plan future special projects.

Business Analysis & Planning

  • Translate business goals into detailed technical and functional specifications.

  • Design and document user flows, wireframes, and mockups as needed.

  • Work with stakeholders and end-users to validate requirements and improve usability.

Development & Technical Contribution

  • Serve as the primary or co-developer on special projects, contributing especially to the Front-End development stack.

  • Modify and extend existing codebases where necessary.

  • Set up development processes, tools, and documentation for smooth collaboration with other developers.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Perform end-to-end testing to ensure product quality and stability before deployment.

  • Work with QA Engineers (if assigned) to create and manage test cases and scripts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of combined experience in Product Ownership/Management and Front-End Development.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle. 

  • Proficient in front-end development technologies (e.g., React, Vue, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

  • Experience working on mobile-first or responsive design projects.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to lead through influence and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
