What’s New in Edusuite: Additional DepEd Reports and Convenience Features for K12

Edusuite continues to blaze the trail in school management innovation, offering best-in-class tools that simplify operations for every school. Our latest updates introduce enhanced reporting capabilities, including the report generation of School Form 3 (SF3) and School Form 4 (SF4), as well as several bonus features to improve administrative efficiency. Here’s a closer look at what’s new.

School Form 3: Books Issued and Returned (SF3)

Edusuite now supports the automated generation of School Form 3 (SF3), also known as the Books Issued and Returned Form. This report is essential for tracking the distribution and return of textbooks and reading materials to students.

School Form 4: Monthly Learner Movement and Attendance (SF4)

Managing student attendance and tracking their movement is now easier than ever with Edusuite’s School Form 4 (SF4) report generation feature. SF4 helps administrators monitor attendance and learner movement on a monthly basis.

Schools can create SF4 reports by accessing the student report section of the Reports module. As with SF3, the report is customizable by School Year, and the downloadable Excel file provides a detailed overview of all sections within the selected time period. This feature enhances compliance with DepEd requirements while reducing administrative workload.

Import Possible Meeting Combinations for Schedule Types

Edusuite introduces a new, efficient way to manage class schedules. Previously, possible meeting combinations for schedule types had to be entered manually, one by one. With the latest update, administrators can now import meeting combinations via a CSV file.

By downloading the template and filling it with all possible meeting combinations, schools can upload the file back into the system to ensure that scheduling is both accurate and efficient. This bulk import feature helps avoid errors and saves time when managing large amounts of scheduling data.

Email Report Cards Directly to Guardians

Edusuite makes communication between schools and guardians easier through the introduction of direct email delivery of report cards. Previously, guardians had to download report cards through the portal, but now, report cards can now be automatically sent to their inboxes. This feature ensures quicker access to student performance updates, improving the overall user experience for both schools and families.

Simplified Enlistment of Returning Students

Managing the enlistment of returning students—those who have previously used Edusuite but skipped at least one school year—can be challenging. Edusuite now simplifies this process by allowing administrators to select the correct grade level for returning students directly from a dropdown menu on the Enlistment Page.

Additionally, guardians of returning students will receive clear instructions during the enlistment process, ensuring that students are enrolled smoothly and efficiently. This feature significantly reduces the administrative burden associated with re-enrolling students.

Printing an Official receipt for Other Fees and Flagging Failing Scores

Edusuite continues to improve its financial and academic tools. Paid Other Fees can now be printed easily via the Details modal, much like assessment payments, offering schools better financial documentation.

In addition, administrators can now flag failing assessment tool scores in the Academic Score Sheets by marking them in a different font color when they fall below a certain threshold. This makes it easier for teachers to identify and address areas where students need additional support.

Stay tuned for exciting new features and updates as we continue our journey to deliver best-in-class software!
